ummm mine is over 7k, and that doesn't include any food/drink!!!! but it's in london, and that definitely adds to the cost significantly.
also got to say i am loving some of the castles on here - always wanted to get married in a castle but just couldn't find the right place (also fell in love with the atmosphere and surroundings at kew gardens, and booked it before i saw anything else!). snurton belfast castle is stunning!
Thankyou I am rather in love with the barn (good job as pretty much the only thing we have booked) I love the church to although booking tht was more of a hassel than finding a reception venue.
Late to this, because I was certain I'd already replied! I see my venue twin Fodette has already posted our venue (Cooling Castle Barn) but just wanted to post a few more pics of it ? :
Yay! Ooo Stazzle, have you seen that Cooling are now supplying the white covers in the ceremony room?! How good is that? We weren't going to have any because of the expense but I'm glad they're doing it ?
Yeah I've got to admit, they look gorgeous in the ceremony room - they were something OH and I really weren't bothered about but having seen them now, they look great! We probably will go without in the Tithe barn though. It's from January to November or something isn't it?
Hope your plans are coming along well, I just need to sort out my bridesmaids outfits and I'll feel a little bit more at ease, not stressing as such but it's just niggling me!
All of these venues look beautiful - makes me worry that our venue is a bit pants! Both church and the reception venue are in the city, so theres not a lot of greenery for pretty photos. Have made myself a bit miserable now! lol.
Cities can make for great photos!! I think there's something chic about city pictures... My venue doesn't have greenery near by - all our pics will be done on or next to the ship.
I saw some photos on FB of a wedding a friend went to and the Bride & Groom got on the tube - it looked sooooooo cool!! I would loved to have done that.
Same! We weren't bothering at all with chair covers, the seats are in such good condition & I think it might complicate sitting down for the reception. But I'm glad the ceremony room has them now. They're 'static' so shouldn't cause any issues with people moving around ?
Plans are ploughing along slowly, 3 months to go today (ahhh). Everything except cake, music & vows (oh & the dreaded table plan!). How about you? x
