Due to confirm our venue this week and all of a sudden I’m full of doubts about it… is this normal?!

If you have doubts, could you write a list of your doubts and email them? Or pop in again for a second viewing? I had doubts, then wrote a list and revisited out venue. I found that my fears were handled well at the venue.

How many times have you visited? It might be worth going again. I think the best time to visit is an open day too!

I think it’s kind of normal, it’s a massive thing choosing where your wedding day will take place. After I had seen the venue we have booked up I was so excited that night that I couldn’t sleep. We have a good image of how our day will look but as soon as we paid the deposit I started having thoughts of what if the layout of the venue doesn’t work for elderly relatives and family friends (this is probable because I tripped over at a different venue that we viewed) another thought was what if they can’t actually accommodate all the things we want (Bouncy castle, mini golf, garden games and ice cream bike). I spoke to my FH about it and we have been to every open day they have had and taken different family members and bridal party even got my nan to have a walk around it soo knew it was ok for the older generation to get about, she gave it the thumbs up and that made me feel so much better. My venue are amazing with replying to emails and any concerns they answer really quickly. But honestly go back and visit as much as you need to before booking up to really get a feel of the place and the team and as Sarah said above go on an open day as you get a feel of the place full of people.

It’s important to understand why you have doubts.
