Hi All,

I am probably being silly here but I ordered a beautiful Pronovias dress on 18th April from a shop back near my mums, but these past days I've been doubting my choice. I know this is probably really normal, and most brides do. I absolutely love my dress, it suited me, its my style. I didn't cry or anything when I was in it, but I'm not the type of person too do that. Its a very simple satin gown, high necked, with a full skirt. I always knew I would pick satin, but Im starting to think is it a bit too modest, a bit too 'covered up' etc. Should I have gone for something strapless or with thin straps?

However since ordering it, I've just thought is it really the one for me? Did anyone else feel like this? Im really wondering whether I need to consider re picking my dress or not. Does anyone know if that's easy enough to do? Or do I face losing my £800 deposit if I decide to try another dress!! I feel so confused. I mean I won't see the dress now for 6-8months. That's a long time to really wind myself up about it.

I really feel like a lost lamb!! Smiley sad

I think that's a gorgeous dress! If you're concerned about whether it's too modest, I think you will definitely look classy and alluring in a more sophisticated way. If you think you might not feel "sexy", you could always go for some really racy underwear for underneath the dress.

You look gorgeous in that dress. The dress is gorgeous and will look even better once it's n your size.

Suzanne Neville designed my friend's wedding dress. It was beautiful and suited her so well. However, I could not justify the cost for one dress for one day.

I love my own dress so very rarely have dress-envy but I sure have it over your dress....it is simply stunning. Classic and incredibly elegant.

As for your Grandmother's necklace....could you use this in your hair somehow? I can't remember who, but a recent bride did this with some family pearls and it looked fab.
