Dress shirt for the groom

Hello,

My partner is hiring a kilt for our wedding day, but needs to get his own dress shirt.

The one he's got fits him around the neck, but the sleeves look like balloons from shoulder to elbow.

I'm wondering if other grooms have had this issue, and if they got a made to measure dress shirt or bought one off the rack and got it tailored?

Not sure is a kilt dress shirt is different from a "normal" shirt but to get the arms and body to fit with a larger neck size he should look out for and try on some slim fit ones which should be tighter on the arms. Some slim fit are slimmer than others though I have recently gone through loads trying to find one that is actually slim but fits my neck, its nuts how mens shirt size goes from neck size.
