Dress shopping

I too am anxious about this, I have am appointment in 4 weeks and hate clothes shopping full stop. Why not phone a few shops u would be able to visit and ask if they have anything available in short/petite so u know it will be more accurate. I plan to be as open minded as possible. Maybe also look on websites - but check they can be returned so uk based- as then also u can find the shape u like in the comfort of ur own home. Good luck

I’d start by picking a couple of dress styles that you like, then research bridal shops and see if they’ve got anything on their website that fits in with these styles. Alternatively, find a few designers you like, then find nearby stockists. Once you’ve done that phone the shops, tell them the style of dresses you like and explain the situation. They will be very helpful. Don’t forget that bridal shops almost always have a pedestal to stand on, so even if the dress is too long when you’re standing on the floor, you’ll be able to get a feel for what it would look like once altered by standing on the pedestal x

They make you feel incredible when you are there and you will have a great time! Maybe take a pair of heels the same height as you would want your wedding shoes to be to give you the extra height when trying the dresses on?
