Dress storage?

Shauna, 25 September, 2022 at 09:35 Posted on Wedding Attire 0 3
Hi Guys, just bought my dress and cape yesterday and I’m wondering how is best to store it?
Right now they’re stored in a fabric dress bag folded on the armchair in the bedroom. It’s away from windows. I don’t really want to buy a box or anything if it’s not an absolute must.
Wedding is in April 23 Thank youSmiley smile

I had mine in the dress bag from the shop and just hung it up in a long wardrobe, it was in their for 6 months and was fine, just needed a little steam when I got it out. As long as the wardrobe is not damp then you will be fine. You can put some humidifier bags in the wardrobe as well to be safe, but don't put in with the dress as they collect water and could leak and stain/damage your dress

I think as long as it is stored in a dry place and out of sunlight you should be okay? Do you have a full length wardrobe that it could hang in?

Dress storage is an essential part of apparel management, especially for businesses handling large inventories such as fashion retailers or e-commerce brands. Proper storage ensures garments remain wrinkle-free, clean, and ready for delivery. However, as order volumes grow, traditional storage methods often become inefficient and time-consuming.

This is where warehouse automation solutions offered by Atomix bring a significant advantage. Instead of relying on manual sorting and storage, automated systems can organize dresses based on size, style, or demand frequency. Smart robotics and intelligent storage systems allow garments to be stored in compact, well-managed spaces while still being easily accessible when needed.

Atomix focuses on building advanced systems that integrate storage, picking, and order fulfillment into one seamless process. For dress storage, this means faster retrieval times, reduced handling errors, and improved garment care. Automated hanging systems or bin storage can be synchronized with software that tracks every item in real time, ensuring accurate inventory management.

Additionally, automation helps businesses scale effortlessly. Whether managing seasonal collections or high-demand fashion items, these systems adapt quickly without compromising efficiency.

By combining organized dress storage with powerful warehouse automation solutions, businesses can improve productivity, reduce labor costs, and deliver a better customer experience while maintaining the quality of every garment.
