Dry hire wedding venue

My partner and I are from different cultures (he’s British, I’m not) and I’m having a nightmare finding/deciding on a wedding venue that will fit everything we want and also suit international and British guests. Main point of stress is that in my culture everything is provided for guests, i.e. unlimited drinks, food and dancing all night, which would be way too expensive I think to achieve in a standard/package type wedding venue.

We live in the Birmingham area and would like something close by or close enough (max 1 hour) and if we had our way we’d like the venue to also fit a number of criteria:

- nice (inside, grounds, etc.)

- allows own drinks with no/minimal corkage fee

- allows own caterer or has flexible inside caterers

- has accomodation at reasonable rates for guests

- is up to 4/5k to hire for a Saturday (due to international travellers etc)

So far everything I found is either mega expensive (eg Pendrell Hall) or does not offer dry hire, or no rooms.

Would you have any venue suggestions... or even some advice as to how to approach a multicultural wedding. Thanks.
