Dumb wonder web question

ashmegdj, 18 September, 2008 at 19:21 Posted on Planning 0 4

I have never used wonder web before and I'm not sure how to do it. ?

I need to turn up my sons school trousers so does the wonderweb go over the new hem edge and the inside of the trouser leg like selotape would

or

does it go inbetween the two layers like double sided tape IYSWIM??

I hope that makes sense. ?

In-between, like double-sided tape. Then put a damp cloth over it, and iron on to that. It will kind of melt and bond to the fabric so make sure it is tucked well in to the hem.

    Thanks ladies. ?

That is how I thought from watching my Mum years ago but the instructions on the packet seem indicate the other way. Perhaps I'll wait until tomorrow and ask my sister what she thinks.

You can now also get fabric 'glue' which is even easier!
