Hi all!


We're newly engaged and are potentially looking at a fairly quick wedding. I'm wondering if anyone could help with venue suggestions that meet the following:
No wedding breakfastNo ceremonyEvening "reception" onlyBuffet type catering or own catering possible
We're wanting a fairly chilled out day with a church ceremony, and we're not a massive fan of the wedding breakfast being part of our day!
We're based in Ashby (technically Leicester), but derby/nottingham way is probably better for us based on family locations etc!
Any "blank canvas" or "evening do" venue hire suggestions would be massively appreciated! X

    Hi I am based in Leicester and mainly shoot in Leicestershire and I have galleries of 21 of the areas most popular wedding venues.

    Sounds like Brooksby Hall's twilight package will be a good option for you, they even have a Church on site. This year will see my 100th wedding there. I have a big gallery of both the Church and the Hall.

    For a civil ceremony they usually start around 4pm to 4.30 then 1.5 hours of drinks, mingling and photos and straight into a buffet /bbq/ hog roast 6.30 ish ten full on evening disco around 7.30/8pm.

    I also do lower cost packages to reflect the shorter coverage of a twilight wedding and I love shooting weddings at Brooksby Hall Smiley heart

    Out your way there is Mythebarn and Cattows farm which I also have galleries for. Not sure if they can offer what you need though.

    ") Wishing you well. We want a fairly small wedding just the Cermony possibly a blessing on the day or just us two another time. Will be having a wedding breakfast not much planned in evening expect cutting of the cake. Need to fill out the gaps with something.
