Easy and quick starter ideas?

Big platter of parma ham, goat's cheese and figs? Or parma ham and melon?

Bruschetta? Lots of options - tomato, mushroom la la la

Fry some oyster mushrooms in a little butter, add some raw king prawns and then some creme fraiche. Spoon into ramekins, top with parmesan and breadcrumbs and grill for a few seconds.

Takes 10 minutes to prepare and is so easy. It's delish and has become our number one starter.

Baked camembert with some crusty bread and a nice onion marmalade?

Smoked mackerel pate? SM, creme fraiche, lemon and something hot - cheyenne or tabasco. mash with a fork or in the food processor and chill for about an hour. A splash of sherry is good too.

I would do a pate with melba toast, or baked peppers stuffed with either vine toms or rice and cheese. can give recipies if you need honey (sorry had many gins can do recipies in the morning... lol)
