easy switch torch for arthritic nan???????

miss_winter14, 12 of March of 2015 at 22:46 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

good evening all,
my grandmother has asked for a torch but the one we tried was too stiff. does anyone have any recommendations for any torches which are easy to switch on with very poor strength and mobility in the fingers? i'm talking she could blow on it and it'd switch on kinda thing?
we've offered touch lamps, nightlights and many other suggestions but she is adamant that it must be a torch!
many thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Not got any personal recommendation but you could try looking at childrens torches. They're usually very light and easy to turn on/off although may not be as bright as others. Perhaps just avoid the peppa pig ones Smiley winking

Have you tried a wind-up one? you don't need quite so much grip with those and they are usually very easy to work.

No real suggestions but often Betterware have 'useful' things like that, may be worth a look??
