ebay bridesmaid dress success stories please!!

Have you tried the high street, i ended getting mine from asos, and as i got them in the sale they only ended up costing me £21 each. I know a lot of ladies who have got theirs from H&M Quiz, and even Tesco's.

Heya Thanks for responding! Yeah iv been looking at high street shops for the last 6/8 months and not really seen anything! Everything is all pastel colours at the moment and don't get me wrong I love baby pink but I wanna do hot pink to be different lol, hot pink is more me as well :-) Thanks though I will keep looking

My aunties got their wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses from eBay but I'm not sure where.

The he one thing I would say Is you've got plenty of time to look, wait till the seasons change and see what comes in, I don't think you need to worry till next year.

I cant recommend an ebay supplier but several on here have used light in the box with success. I personally would prefer to be able to try it on, check the colour/fit etc in a high street store. I found this for £49. It says pink, but you might need to look up close because online pics can be deceptive with colour:

I don't know what you're budget is, but I just wore a bridesmaid dress from queeniebridesmaid.com and it was approx £75 and it was good quality! There's loads of styles and loads of different colours.

I bought my dresses off an eBay seller based in the UK. She was fab, and let us exchange dresses for the right size. I paid about £35 each. Mine are blue, but she may do pink too.

Tbh, I'm not sure about the import tax? My friend never mentioned anything and I'm sure she would have.. I would ask her but she's on honeymoon, sorry.. I'll try and find out when's she back.

There is a possibility of having to pay import tax an anything over £15 which is imported from outside the EU.

i got a few bits from China for my wedding, some things I got a tax charge and some things I didn't. First time I got a tax charge I mentioned it To Lightinthebox and they refunded me 50% of it.

I don't know where you are based, but I got my BM dresses from sexyher in Croydon. You go try the dresses on to get an idea of the style and, although they keep some colours in stock, you can order virtually in any colour. The dresses are made in China but the quality is excellent (as you have a shop 'fronting' the operation) and don't have to worry about import tax. They have a website and if you do go remember to make an appointment. The dresses are more expensive than buying direct from China but then you do have the assurance that you will get a good quality dress with no hidden charges. Good luck.

Not a BM dress, but my mum bought her mother of the bride outfit from a china ebayer the other week, it came in about 10 days and the quality was excellent, exactly like the picture, couldn't fault it. Seller was augus2008. Hope this helps
