I switched energy supplier at Christmas to EDF Energy via Sainsburys Energy. A few weeks back I was advised to use 'moneysavingexpert' to see if they were still the cheapest and it showed that I could save quite a lot of money switching.
I've just received my final electric bill and EDF have slapped £263.06 of 'cancelled charges' in addition to the charges for the last few weeks.
Has anyone else come across this? Do you know what the cancelled charges relate to? I've just emailed EDF but guess there will be some delay in hearing back or a loophole I've fallen into.
