Eloping

Hi is there anyone eloping just the 2 of you and coming home and having a reception? My partner and i are eloping in vegas then coming home and having a party. We are still asking bridemaids and groomsmen, firsly just because we think its special and a chance to show people how much they mean to us, and also will still be having hen/stag dos and we still want to be doing speeches/toasts, cutting the cake, first dance at our reception. So although our bridesmaids/ groomsmen wont be at the actual ceremony, they will still be part of our wedding in other ways. Is anyone else doing this sort of thing? Would love to talk to people about plans as i dont know anyone whos done this!
