Eloping venues

Have you looked at the MacDonald hotel in Bowness on Windermere? I know they do packages, I think a lot of the hotels around there do x

I love that idea of just you two eloping - even without the activities you are keen on, it sounds so romantic!
I love planning trips away and just did a Google search and found a handy website:

Not sure if it will come up with the hotels that came up after I put in some search criteria, but I had a quick scan through and they all look gorgeous!
What it would be handy to do is draft a brief email that details what your plan is and what you would be looking for in your stay and then sending it to an email address for each hotel that you fancy the look of. You will probably get a response from most of them, if not all, so that may be overwhelming but it's your wedding, so best to have a shop around 😊 And it's a good way of filtering out ones that may not be suitable and getting it down to a few for you and your fiancé to decide from.

Have you seen Beacon Crag before? It’s down in Cornwall on top of a cliff overlooking the sea. The couple that run are absolutely lovely, and can also act as your witnesses so you don’t need to have any guests ☺️

I find it easier to keep a notebook of wedding details, find say 4 venues you like, dedicate a page each to them and order their details in the same order so its quicker to find the detail you're after (address, telepohone number, email address, wedding co-ordinator, venue price, whats included in price etc).
