I know, a tragedy, how will I ever get over it? ?

I'm a bit confused about Carl, Anna and Lexi. What happened when Lexi came back from Canada? Carl was getting it on with Anna and now he's all loved up with Lexi again. What gives?

Thanks in advance - I will rest easy when I know ?

ETA - ignore, I've just found the answer. My googling power wasn't up to much, initially. Whoops.

    Carrie spilled the beans to Lexi about Carl killing Tom, so now Carl has to keep Lexi on side incase she tells anyone in revenge if he dumps her
