I recently had a laparoscopy done to find out why I was suffering with a lot of painful symptoms, and it turns out I have mild endometriosis on my bladder and uterus. The thing is, I had my surgery and all the surgeon told me is that I was diagnosed with it; I don't have a follow up appointment and I wasn't told anything about my fertility etc. I've been a bit down about the news because I know it can effect fertility - I was treated for it but I wasn't given any information, so I've been looking online and it turns out that the endometriosis can come back, unless I was to go on the pill.
For health reasons I can't go on the combined pill, but I've been told about the mini-pill which you take every day without breaks in between. I am petrified of this option though, as I have always had regular periods and really don't want to mess them up, but at the same time I don't want the endometriosis to come back 
has anyone had experience with the mini-pill and whether it helped symptoms/gave any bad side effects?
