Engagement ring & wedding ring different metals... HELP Please!

My engagement ring is White gold

I went instore today to try some wedding rings on with my ER to see what would fit best.

Ive found a WR that fits perfectly with my ER and is also the perfect thickness and price! However it's palladium....

Could the two rings be worn together or would I need a white gold WR?

    Best to keep the same metal or one will wear the other away. It looks like they might have a white gold version tho!:

    I was thinking that! Tried the white gold one on as well tho it's a good bit thinner.... Didn't look as nice! :/

    Hmm, I can see now that the palladium one is 2.5mm width but the white gold one is 2mm. I know a few hitchers have used Alba Rose to get a bespoke shaped wedding band quite successfully I believe, maybe that's an option?

    They need to be the same hardness really. I started off with 9ct gold rings. Then for my 5th anniversary my husband bought me a new engagement ring in 18ct gold. Over the next few years the 9ct wedding ring wore into the new engagement ring. I eventually replaced the original wedding ring with an 18ct gold one.

    My ER & WR are both 9ct white gold and they've still worn each other down - and it's only been 4 months!
