Entertainment Ideas

MissBtoB, 22 June, 2015 at 21:42 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on entertainment. We are going to have two gaps of an hour each during the day and I want to keep everyone occupied. We will have about 25 children and 60 adults. I don't want people to be bored. Has anyone else booked magicians, soft play etc. We haven't got masses of space to play with and it's a winter wedding. Thanks in advance.

In my experience, guests are often more happy than you might think to occupy themselves - particularly for only an hour, even if it's twice in the day!

Between your ceremony and wedding breakfast, people will be drinking, chatting and having pictures taken.

In the gap between your wedding breakfast and evening reception, guests will stretch legs, disappear to freshen up or check in to hotel rooms. I've been booked before for the meal / evening and often, there haven't been many people there to sing to!

I'm not saying avoid all entertainment, but maybe don't spend too much money, just in case it's not something you find is essential for the day.
