Entrance Music

zoface, 28 January, 2016 at 13:19 Posted on Planning 0 3

Not sure where to post this as getting married in Florida but thought its more of a general planning thing. I am considering my entrance music for my walk down the aisle. I really want to use "American Authors - Best Day of My Life"

Its quite an upbeat song but I thought it reflects the sentiment

Anyone got any thoughts?

Use whatever you want, if it's upbeat I don't see an issue Smiley smile I had the cave by mumford & sons... not exactly traditionally romantic!

I don't see any problem with upbeat. If it's what you want BUT don't fancy so upbeat search for instrumental version maybe. I had an Elvis song in the end at the last minute (long story) but it was a recording by string quartet.

Have whatever you like. The only opinions that matter are those of you and your OH.

Some might think that our choice of entrance song (I wasn't expecting that by Jamie Lawson) is a bit downbeat, and it is. We chose it as the first few verses are SO apt for us and as it's only a short walk in we will crop the song so that it ends before the twist in what is an otherwise beautiful love song.
