you should go without doing anything to it, I would suggest to wash it tonight and not put anything on it,

They dont wash it at your trial, and they suggest not to wash it that day as your hair wont stay in the style as its too soft IYSWIM.

I work in a hair salon, and we normally recommend to wash you hair the night before so it's not too soft to work with, bring your tiara/veil if you have them or if not then a picture, plus any pictures of hairstyles you like. The stylist then goes through a couple of different ideas for things you can do with your hair.

If you're getting something different like waves or curls in your hair, make sure you ask them to use the same amount of product as they would use on the wedding day as you want to be sure it'll stay. At some hair trials they say they do a 'loose' version of the big day hair. Not sure why they do this, whole point of a hair trial is to see what it will be like exactly on the day!!

At my trial we played about with different looks for the front, where tiara and veil will sit, and the back as i wanted hair up.

sadly what i left with wasn't what i'll have on the day as it fell down but have been assured its because they didn't put enough product on it. I do trust hairdresser so, although im nervous about it it will be fine.

definately remember veil and tiara (if you're having them) and take a pic of your dress and a pic of you in the dress so your hair dresser can suggest looks that will suit it.

funny you should ask - i had mine last night

i went along with pics of hair i liked, and pics of me in my dress

we chatted ideas through, and then i just let him get on with it!

i wash my hair every morning - and i saw him after work - so it was clean, but not too clean

he didn't wash it, he just put curlers and products in and created something really lovely!!

    its fun - enjoy ;-)

just be honest, give him all your ideas, talk about it, and come up with something you like!

I brought pictures of how I wanted it and my tiara.

As everyone else says, wash your hair the night before. My hair is particularly soft so it was still quite difficult for the hairdresser to work with.
