Every now and again i feel sick…

I’ve had a couple of moments where I’ve had to catch my breath over it but mine has been mainly due to the added stress of Covid. With the money side we agreed what we wanted to spend on the different aspects and have mainly stuck to it. We both said we weren’t going to go overboard as we know some friends who are still paying for their weddings years later and we didn’t want that. You don’t need to spend lots to have a nice day and if the financial side is making you anxious then maybe have another look at what sort of day you really want.

Yeh it's crazy money! But budgeting is really key. Attempt to gather as many quotes as you can so you get an idea of how much it may cost, we also tracked how much we needed to save to cover it and any financial help from families. Weddings cost, the biggest expense is the food. Despite cutting everything else, food and drink still takes a big chunk of it. I recommend to keep guests numbers down if want to save the pennies!! Other than that just take it easy and step by step, it'll work out in the end 😊

Take some time off from planning. Then you’ll have better perspective.
