Old school best friends coming over from abroad to stay with me for a week

anyone got anything planned?

    I've got loads coming up too, and although I'm excited, I'm also slightly daunted by lack of weekends (and by the latest introduction of the suggestion that H will be working in Madrid for the next 2ish months, which is bound to lead to some last minute cancellations...).

    So, Race for Life and H's summer ball this weekend;

    Thing 2's 2nd birthday, Village fun day (which we're helping at) and our 6th anniversary next weekend;

    Glastonbury

    Holiday - hurrah for sunny Salcombe

    Picnic at Chew Valley Lake with village friends (no relation to the Village People)

    Thing 1's birthday party

    Shopping day with my school friends in London town

    H's birthday - activity TBC

    Holiday 2 - TBC

    OOh I've got a few lovely things in July.....

    Suprise tea at the Ritz for my mum in a few weeks, plus on the London Eye

    Going to see the Monkeys at Trentham Gardens and taking my sister as a suprise

    My birthday (yay)

    A BBQ with some friends/family I haven't seen in months

    The rest of the Summer is going to be pretty quiet, which I am stupidly excited about ?. We're hoping to get the chance to go camping at least every other weekend and then just when the weather turns, we've booked a week off but no actual plans yet. We've looked at going to Las Vegas for 5 days which will be fab but we're keeping options open in case we can get a late deal.

    Ooooh jealous of the lovely trips posted! I have:

    June - IOW festival then 10 days in Scotland with a brief stop in Manchester on the way

    July - possibly Blur at Wembley (friend's OH doesn't want to go anymore), hen night in Oxford, friends 10th anniversary BBQ, gran's 80th gathering down on the coast

    Aug - not much - a wedding one weekend and am also doing a knicker making workshop at a craft place in London!

    Sep - OH's birthday, a hen party then the wedding the week after. Considering booking a cheap weekend away somewhere for OH's bday...

    Writing that down has made me realise I have a lot to smile about really - even though work is totally pants at the moment.

    October: Holiday to Algarve Hoorah!!

    My birthday in September and hopefully a last minute holiday and then back to work in October as my maternity leave will be up (sort of looking forward to adult company again but obviously don't want to leave my baby).
