Expedia holiday - would you confirm the hotel booking? (help)

I'd call and confirm, but then I'm a control freak and triple check everything before I go on holiday.

We've booked through expedia loads of times (including our honeymoon!) and I've never rung to confirm. As long as you've got your confirmation e-mail (which you print off and take with you) you should be fine. Of course, if it's going to bug you, there's no harm in making the call to put your mind at rest.

I would. When I went to Stockholm with my mum we booked to stay at the Nordic Light hotel through Expedia. When we arrived we found that Expedia had booked us into the sister hotel, the Nordic Sea, instead. No idea what went wrong there, all our documents stated that we had a booking at the Nordic Light but the hotel's booking system showed we were booked into the Nordic Sea. Luckily it wasn't far away but we were not amused. The hotel we ended up in was also cheaper than the one we'd paid for and it took months before we got our money back.

I've been trying to find a phone number/email for the hotel but can't find it! only have an address - if anyone fancies a challenge, its the Hotel Le Capanne in San Giuliano Terme near Pisa (there's another one on Arezzo I think, that's not it). Panic!
