How did you find the one on your wrists? My pal had one done there recently and said it was realllly painful compared to her others (top of arms, chest and bottom of back) ... again, like the foot the skin is really thin there. My wrists look quite veiny so I'm not sure I could have anything done there as the veins are so close to the surface???

Edited to say -just saw your pic comment on why you don't like it ... so its not the design you don't like, just the quality??

Mrs SP - I had wrist tattoos at the same time as my foot - feet hurt far, far more! Wrist was fine!

Here's my real one. Sure it's posted on here somewhere anyway but:

Bit late to this thread and sorry for crashing. loving some of the work on here, its beautiful. i'm planning my 1st tattoos. getting 2 paw prints on my left foot (common one but personal to me) and if that doesnt hurt too much i'm gona hav one on my right foot that my OH has designed for me. he's designed tattoos for a few people so i get him to draw on me in pen all the time till i find the exact design i like. also have 2 more in the pipelines but not sure where to put them. my family highly disapproves of tattoos so i want to be able to cover them up easily but have them in places where i see. like my feet, cos i always walk around bare foot (brought up by the seaside so walked barefoot everywhere lol) but i can wear socks and shoes to cover them should my mum come and visit.

does anyone have any advice for a 1st timer?

This thread just shows how different we all are. Some of the tattoos shown here i think are lovely, and some, not so.

i have never had the tattoo done that i wanted after a friend talked me out of it, then had 'my' tattoo done herself.
