with the right outfit its not too bad...

Could depend on what colour skirt/dress you are wearing with it? My mum always told me off if I wore black tights in the summer, saying they were winter wear only haha.

The dress is a navy blue lacy one but above knee length. I dont have the best legs so cant go bare legged. Its for a wedding in 2 weeks and I need to find something to wear. I could wear black tights and black shoes I suppose...

unless you have nude accesories id say no then...what about nude tights?

I would probably not wear black tights or black shoes with a navy dress but I would also not wear nude shoes with black tights I dont think, so in this instance I would do nude tights and nude shoes or nude tights and navy shoes.

With the right outfit, I think nude/pink shoes and black tights look ok.

However, it doesn't sound right with your outfit. Plus I think black tights aren't very summer-weddingy?

I am going to buck the trend here and say yes. I personally think with the navy it would look ok but then i like nude and navy together and also black and navy.

I think that would look better than the pic that Flow posted of all nude/brown with black tights.

What would help is if you went for a nude fascinator or something just to pull the colour in a bit more.

OP - what about some navy tights? I wear a dark navy dress with navy tights and silver shoes and a silver belt. Do you have a nude belt/headband type accessory?

I dont think I have ever been referred to as "OP" before. It makes it feel like an unknown and I dont like it.
