favours, ferrero rocher

annie75, 17 June, 2008 at 19:30 Posted on Planning 0 9

Hey?

Instead of individual favours , boxes, ribbon etc. I am thinkng of buying ferreror rocher (excuse my spelling) and mint chocolates, individually wriapped and putting them in a bowl on each table. My wedding is not till feb 09 so am thinking when chrheristmas comes there will be lots of boxes of chocs around so could get something then. What do you think

I think thats a great idea, Much more cost effective and they are more than likely to be eaten, But any that arent eaten you get to take with you

I think it's a great idea - so good I may steal it!

We're getting married 7th March so it'll be ideal timing for us too!

We are doing something similar - we were going to have bowls of sweets dotted around the evening doo, pick and mix stylee, but are now just going to scatter 'just married' rock on the tables instead!

Does anyone check allergies with guests in regards to favours?

I think it sounds great, not least because I love them!

That's a good idea. SIL did something similar for her wedding favours, every got a quality street big green triangle.

Try a wholesalers like costco when you're buying them as you'll be able to buy in bulk and it'll be much cheaper than in the shops.

    hey?

thank you for your ideas. I've got a macros near me so will check in there. and for other chocs as well.

Have bought my bowls for the tables and gonna get burgundy wrapping paper and put glitter glue dots on it. Its all an idea in my head at the mo, ? can't wait to put it together to see if it works (fingers crossed icon)
