Favours for teenagers help please

Tracey H2b, 1 June, 2015 at 14:37 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hi

We've got about 20 children coming to our wedding ages ranging from 3-17 and I'm stuck on favours to give them.

For the adults we're doing a tea and biscuits theme but I don't think they will be suitable for children and teenagers.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Tracey

Should have said we're giving the adults tea bags in a pretty little sachet that I'm making and then the biscuits in a gift box. Not sure how to give hot chocolate?

I'd be careful not to offend the teenagers by lumping them in with the children. I'd veer on the side of giving the tea rather than the other option.
What about just the biscuits for the kiddies under 12?

They do hot chocolate in sachets:

    Or as a melting spoon:

Love the idea of a melting spoon or sachets. The biscuits we are having are gingerbread and are a little bit on the hard side for children but should be fine for teenagers.

I've seen loads of ideas for children's favours but I'm making my own favour bags and the ones I've seen all come with bags/boxes. Any ideas?

I agree with halloweeny. Be wary of lumping teens in with children - they are easy to offend!! Why not do the sachet of hot chocolate and a chocolate spoon for the teenagers and do a little pack of biscuits for the children - something that is designed for them. You can get gingerbread men for example in Tesco's fresh section that are an ideal size and my kids certainly love them!
