Feeding suppliers?!?!

I always say no need to feed the suppliers - but some may have it in their contract that you have to. In which case a suppliers meal it is not usually the same as your meal and is not included in your numbers, they usually sit in the bar or somwhere away from your meal service

Its usually some sandwiches - maybe a few chips with it. Sometimes they may have a spare piece of chicken from the main wedding breakfast and you will get that but not usually the whole meal as you got it.

No need to put money behind the bar in my view, venue drinks can be expensive, if the shooter comes along with some help then you could be looking at an extra £50 for 2 meals and the drinks they help themselves to.

We are feeding the photographers as they are there all day. I do know them slightly and they have a close friend in attendance at the wedding so have sat them at the same table.

I think it is a nice touch to feed the suppliers, especially the ones that are there all day, but it isn't normally a requirement. They will need a quick break at some point to eat. My venue does supplier meals, which is a sandwich, crisps and snack and then tea, coffee and water. I believe my venue gives them an area they can eat this in quickly. I asked my videographer and photographer if they want something as they are with us all day and both have accepted. People like the photobooth suppliers wont need anything because they are only there for 4 hours and the decor and florists are only there for set-up.
