Finding witnesses!

Hi all, it's my first time posting on here so thank you in advance for your advice!

I'm looking to get married next year in a small registry office ceremony - with literally no guests. The registry office do not supply witnesses, and the thought of trying to collar two people on the street beforehand fills me with panic! Has anyone got any advice for how we can solve this problem?

Usually posts on here gather a bit of traction if you give details of location and date. I’ve seen most give a token of appreciation in the form of a small payment/vouchers. Worth a shot!
