First dance meaning or words?

Trying to decide on first dance. Do you go for meaning as a couple or words of song? The song total eclipse of the heart has special meaning for us but the words are not particularly first dance friendly. Was just wondering what other people choose?

We chose Bless The Broken Road by the Rascal Flatts. It speaks of having a past that didn’t work but what matters is here and now. We chose it as I’m Mrs D the second. Whilst I’ve never had a previous Mr we all have a past. You choose the song that really means something to you both as it will mean much more on the day.
