It's The Man in Me by Bob Dylan.

My OH played it to me in bed when he was trying to describe how we felt about me and repeated the words when he proposed.

My favourite line is " It takes a woman like you to find the man in me"

But it's definitely not a slow song.

We're having 'At Last' by Etta James for no other reason than we love the song!!

We are having the theme from Gavin and Stacey. We "met" over the phone at work when he was in Wales and I was in London. Hopefully it will make people laugh!

We independently came up with a few ideas while listening to ipods on the train, but weren't a fan of each others' choices! Then, on new years we were listening to random songs on spotify and came across the perfect song- The Book of Love. It's a little slower than most, but we'll make it work. The lyrics are so great, I couldn't imagine any of my other choices now!

We are having Elbow on a day like this - we went to their concert and loved the line holy cow i love you now!

We didnt want something too soppy - and we don't have "a song" as many other people do

We're having Paradise by Coldplay, we don't have a song and this one always comes on the radio with both of us commenting how much we like it so that is our choice. I didn't want a song that everyone else has at their wedding and I like songs that have an emotional sound to them.

We are having Can't Help Falling in Love by Ingrid Michaelson. I love the line "take my hand & take my whole life too". Chosen by both of us and love all the different versions but this one seemed the perfect version for a first dance.

WOW this song always brings me to 'happy' tears when i hear it as my grandad used to sing it to my nana and dance around the room with her.

They both passed away many years ago and it brings back happy memories for me....

I quite fancy "count on me" by Bruno Mars, because me and my little girls like singing it in the car together. The same little girl (aged 6) says it's too fast for a slow dance though. Sigh...

We might go for "I will" by the Beatles, but again it's not easy to dance to.

I was thinking of walking down the aisle to that as when we got engaged after a decade together everyone said 'At Last'! And we love to song too! x

We are still undecided but the current favourites are Al Green 'Let's Stay Together' or Van Morrison 'Someone Like You'

Like others we don't 'have' a song, and our tastes are quite different. OH has stipulated that he will only agree to do the 'first dance' (he just doesn't dance) if we can have Lonnie Donegan's Seven Golden Daffodils. His musical taste is a bit narrow and weird and this is about as mainstream as it gets. It's a bit unusual but I'm fine with it. It's nice and slow and is quite romantic really. He used to sing it as a lullaby to our son in the first few months, so it brings back warm memories.

We still haven't quite sat and chose a definite one yet but so far the 2 we are between at the moment are Snow patrol chasing cars or leanne rhymmes how do i. We do have a few ides though so it may not even end up either of them lol. It's so crazy having to choose just one song that will stick with you for the rest of your life as your wedding song. There is so much choice out there too.

We were originally going to have a bouncy song and have the whole wedding party with us, because we didn't want to do a slow dance with people looking at us. However, on mentioning this to a few people, we realised that guests really look forward to this part of the evening and a few people who are important to us would be very disappointed...

As it wasn't *hugely* important to us, we have changed our plans and will now do our first dance to Ohne Dich by Rammstein
