But the band and song mean a lot to us so i dont care... i dont think people listen to the words anyway!

We are having two. The first is Beneath Your Beautiful as he proposed to me while we were slow dancing to this.

We had a thought that some people may not want to dance to the first song as it goes to a funny tempo we are having a second song too which is Moon River (Audrey Hepburn version) as we have had some very special dances to that song.

We had Eels - The look you gave that guy. Not very well known but a favourite song of ours. The words may also be seen as a bit odd for a first dance but we just went with it

We had Never Tear Us Apart by Paloma Faith, and then Marry You by Bruno Mars when we got our wedding party and best friends to join us for a boogie.

Those 7 minutes could well be the best 7 minutes of my life. ❤️

I think ours will be Animal by Neon Trees or That's What's Up by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. Neither of us can dance but I didn't want anything shuffly!

He wanted Darren Hayes' Beautiful, I wanted Billy Joel's Just the Way You Are.

So we're having both, his choice first.

Although we are still in the very early stages of planning, I have had some ideas about the first dance. We would like something a bit unusual and I am trying to persuade for one of the following:

Guns n Roses - Sweet Child o Mine
The Darkness - I believe in a thing called love
Kiss - I was made for loving you
Metallica - Nothing else matters (although this is nearly 7 minutes long!)

We had two. The first was Adele "Make you feel my love" and the second "Ain't Nobody" by Chaka Khan. I don't actually like Adele tbh but we both just loved that song and I didn't really like the Bob Dylan/Billy Joel versions. Chaka Khan was kind of our song but didn't feel right having it as a first dance so we had it as the second instead It was a great one to fill the dance floor too.

When we got together the song that was out at the time and played ALL the time wherever we went was CeLo Green Forget You.....any time I hear it I think of H and vice versa....but maybe inappropriate so we're having Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran.....love the lyrics xxx
