First Dance songs

Does anyone have an opinion on any of these songs cant decide and could do with some outside input......

1, Bryan Adams Heaven ( This is the first song me and kev danced to but not sure if I want it enough or not)

2, Chasing cars Snow Patrol but sang by Natasha Bedingfield.

3, Time after Time Eva Cassidy ( This might be a bit too slow)

4, Kiss me Sixpence none the Richer

5, Insert some other suggestion of your own.

    How about Songbird by Eva Cassidy? That's what we're thinking of having.

    have you heard the dj sammy version of this? not the dancey version - they do a moonlight or twilight version. quite pretty actually, with lots of strings. sure it will be on you tube.

    i suppose the tune you choose will depend on whether you are happy to just sway to the music, or rip up the dance floor!

    We are probably having chasing cars but the snow patrol version. We have really struggled to find anything with any real 'meaning' that is appropriate/danceable, but we both do really love that song, so will prob be that xxx

    I love Take That - Rule the World. H2b not so keen, but hasn't come up with anything as yet!

    No bluewater I have not heard that version but ill have a look on you tube and see what I think.

    We're having either:

    Alicia Keys - If I Ain't Got You

    or

    Stevie Wonder - For Once in My Life

    I think whichever one doesn't make it as the first dance will still feature somewhere else in the wedding.

    Just had a listen and yes your right that is another good one.

    There are to many god first dance songs. Do you think my guests would mind if me and h2b just spent all the night dancing to slow mushy numbers all on our own then we could have them all.

    I think we are going to get my friend, who is singing at the church anyway to sing as our first dance. She has an amazing voice - kinda eva cassidy-esque.

    We have also been stuck. We don't want anything cheesy, we don't want any boy bands, and we dont want eh usual that most other people have. These are the suggestions we have come up with.
