First Post - Bridesmaid shoes...help!!

Hello ladies!!

This is my first post on here and would really love some advice/knowledge/opinions!! I'm getting married on the 12th Sept 2011 (eek 4 months to go sooooooo excited!!) anyone else getting married around that time too??

I've been searching (and searching and searching and searching!!) for shoes to get for my 3 bridesmaids. They are wearing the Coast Symphony Maxi Dresses in Cadburys Purple and the main colour themes for the wedding is Cadburys purple, Silver and White and I cannot find any suitable shoes!!

Ideally I was looking at nude coloured or beige shoes as was finding it a headache to try and match the colour of the dress to the shoes and also was looking for £30 each max. I am looking along these lines but don't know anymore!!

    I had nightmares over my BM shoes too because I have 4 adults and they are all fussy re: shoes, whereas I HATE shoes and I still own a pair of strappys that are 15+ years old (and destined for the bin, according to my BMs). I searched high and low, and had a strict budget, and bought the following...

    ...the only difference being was that I bought silver (our colour theme is navy, cream and silver) and they were in the sale for £10 a pair, a real bargain. Anyway, the BMs love my choice and one road tested her pair last month and found them to be fairly comfortable.

    Hello!

    My theme is also Cadburys Purple with darker and lighter purples worked into it, and ivory and silver. So three coloured theme. A sub theme is butterflies Smiley smile

    My bridesmaids are wearing dark purple satin dresses which are floorless, so shoes are not VERY important but I still wanted nice ones.

    CB and I looked at different colours and we found BLACK shoes looked best. Silver didn't look right as the purple was too deep, and purple was too overkill on purple or it wasn't the right kind of purple, whereas because the purple is dark, the black is simple and looks nice. Plus there is a very faint butterfly outline around the shoes Smiley smile

    I have no idea about shoes, I'm still trying to convince my BM's to wear flats, so I don't look short next to them! But just wanted to say hi and welcome! x
