Flash me your pumpkin!

Bookish, 29 October, 2013 at 14:33 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 28

I need some pumpkin inspiration. I've got a big one and a little one sat in the kitchen and I'm gonna make soup with the innards but I need ideas on how to decorate them.

The stranger the better!

Twiga those really are fab! I do like the joker one as well though obviously yours will be way better MatthewsMummy.

Almost Mrs M, my other half is the same. In his own words he has 'all the creativity of a cardboard box'. Bless them.

Ahh Bookish you beat me to it haha Smiley smile

Spent a couple of hours doing the house up spooky and getting the pumpkin done, deliberately got a bigger one than OH's and put some effort in, I think we one but OH thinks it's him haha!

Matt getting stuck in cleaning it out...

    And the final result -

I still have my small one to do. Knackered after day one of looking after a two year old. I don't know how you mums cope full time Smiley smile we'll hopefully get around to it tomorrow. I could get Ava (my niece) to help but her reaction when I showed her the carved one was 'oh no, it's broken'. I think she enjoyed rolling them around the floor the day before more than anything! She did like it when I lit it up in the dark though Smiley smile

I’ve never carved a pumpkin. I imagine if I did it would look like a 2 year old had been let loose on it!
