I don't have one yet but this is what a friend did for her wedding last month.

Tables were named after holidays we'd had together so I decided to make the table plan look like postcards. I did think of leaving the cork board bare but D thought it would look more like a real notice board with lots of other bits on so we added photos.

I have these photos I found on French websites too, some of them are quite creative.

I love this. It's so different. We were looking at having someting different, but fear it may not fit with the rest of the stationery. We wanted to do a print of the New York underground map and put people at different stations. We have now chosen different names for the tables, so need to think of something else.
