Thanks Karen. As I said. It wasn't what I planned on getting. I know I wanted to have a ring that would work if I had to wear it without my ER. What were you thinking of going for (I cant remember what your ER looks like)

Yes, I think that's what made me change from initially wanting a plain band - I'd like a WR I can wear on it's own as well as with my ER.

This is my ER and below is the style of WR I am looking for. I think they will look lovely together, I don't think having a diamond band will make my ER look less 'special', which is H2B's opinion. Obviously in the end it only matters what I want, but it's good to get an idea here.

I think they would lovely together. Go and try a couple on and see what you think. I think with the right ring the diamonds will compliment your ER not take away from it if that makes sense.

I understand what you H2B means. I was going to go for something plain too but I decided I don't really want to wear my ER and WR together (unless it was for a Spesh occasion) so once I'm married the ER will be put away.

This is mine, looks really sparkly irl! I have a simple diamond solitaire engagement ring and they look lovely together. My partner has a gold and silver two tone ring but reversed, so his is gold with a silver trim. I'll probably wear the wedding ring on its own and wear the engagement ring for special occasions/going out.

Mine is old (the middle one) is the ring that OH bought me when we first got together. I loved it enough to not want it replaced.

The teeny one underneath is my mother in laws ring, she isn't with us anymore.
