Flip flop basket size help please

Hi girls. Managed to talk the OH into the flip flop basket idea. I have seen a basket on eBay which is perfect as our theme is red. The only problem is sizes. Don't know how many pairs will fit in the different sizes. If anyone can help that would be great. I have attached a pic of the sizes.

I was thinking about 20 pairs of flip flops.

I bought 14 pairs of flip flops from Primark and then ordered one of these wine crates from eBay...

It was a complete guess but the 14 pairs fit in perfectly; although they are quite snug ;-)

The measurements of the box are -

Depth - 27cm

Width - 35cm

Height - 18cm

I've just bought 20 pairs of Primark £1 flip flops and they luckily fit perfectly inside an old Fortnum & Mason hamper basket my best friend had...

I bought 4 large pairs, 6 small pairs and the rest in medium.

Dimensions of the basket are:

width 18 inches

length 12 inches

height 10 inches at lowest point (at sides)
