Flip Flop Numbers

I’ve been to a couple of wedding’s in the last couple of years and have taken my own flip flops in the car to wear as I know wearing heels after a few hours can make your feet hurt and have seen people put out flip flops for people to take.
My dilemma is how many pairs of flip flops should I get for our wedding. I think in total there would be 200 guests (day and evening). And I am assuming that the guys feet may also get tired. But not everyone will want to wear them cos they’re ok. So do I get 100 or less (obviously a variety of sizes).

I've seen this kind of thing in staged shots, but I've never been to a wedding where it's been done in real life, and I've never been sure it would really work. Unless you know all your guests really well, how do you know how many of each size you will need? Not every guest is going to wear uncomfortable footwear and some of those that do would never change into flipflops anyway. Personally, I'd save my money for something else and trust that anyone who is planning to wear uncomfortable shoes will either bring their own flats to change into or will be happy going barefoot.

I was just going to get a variety of sizes but as you say it might not be used or the right sizes.
