Flissy cakes - Cheshire

icklesal, 24 of September of 2013 at 19:34 Posted on Planning 0 9

Has anyone had one of her cakes? They look amazing and the price seems good. Although I haven't had a proper quote.

she is based in altrincham, Cheshire.

Yes I've heard of her! Lovely looking cakes but i never tried one. Found the prices too high (in general in the cheshire area) so i didn't enquiry further but i think she does tasting sessions? its worth asking!

I've only really looked at supermarket type ones for prices. Do you have any recommendations for Cheshire/staffs area?

Just looked at her site and her signature ones ARE reasonable prices (i was fussy and wanted something extra ;P) I'll pull up my cake quote spreadsheet.

heres a few I found were good and afforable.

Most of those offer 100-130 portions, 3 tiers for £200-£250

Www.judescakerybakery.co.uk is who we have gone with she is manchester/ Cheshire based and will deliver and set up. Her cakes that we tried were amazing and all the photos on her facebook page look awesome. She was really helpful and friendly. Seemed a lot cheaper than some of the other quotes we had.

They look beautiful. Might be worth asking if they have any exhibitions / taster sessions coming up.

I have gone with Flissy Cakes!

    Not tried them though oops!

I always think a wedding cake is more about the look than the taste...

I have gone for a Cath Kidston design (my own design) and we are paying £245 for 4 tiers although this was part of her 'free tier' deal

She has some cakes on display at celebration village in Manchester although none to taste x

I don't expect I will even eat any cake so for me I'm all about the look. Oh is all about the taste! Hmmm might plan a trip to celebration village for a nosey. Thanks for info
