Floral Friday Flash

*gnashers*, 23 November, 2012 at 09:57 Posted on Planning 0 22

As I mentioned the other day, there are too many questions being asked on Hitched these days and not enough flashing. So I propose a floral Friday flash. Ideas of what you're having for bouquets, buttonholes, anything.

My bouquet and BM bouquet's will be a mix of the two of these...

Buttonholes will be the style of the below but a more orangey rose

And for the lower centrepieces, we'll have something like the below

Ladies and gents of Hitched...it's now your turn ?

I love your bouquet ideas Kirstabubble! Also really like your centre pieces. I can't see some of your other pics unfortunately.

I'm going to meet with my florist on Tuesday but I like this kind of bouquet for me (it'll be tied with raffia rather than ribbon though & my colours are orange & cream):

Gerberas are my main flower so I'm thinking of something along these lines for my bridesmaids in cream. Again they will be tied with raffia & I might change the reed grass for something more rustic like twigs or barley!

Button holes will be quite simple, just a gerbera with something rustic! As I said, I'm hoping for further inspiration from my florist on Tuesday! :o)

I get married 5 weeks today so I have lots to flash.

My bouquet is going to be a sort of mix of the two ideas below, red and pale lilac roses with berries and some trailing foliage.

    Buttonholes something like this

Top table arrangement something like this

Centrepieces are just candelabras with a bit of ivy and maybe some small white roses twisted in

Not a flower but still in the naturally growing theme my placecards will be pine cones spray painted gold

For pew ends I have small wickers heart which I've spray painted gold and I have aubergine coloured ribbon to add to them if I can figure out a decent way to do a big bow.

Here's mine! Yellow gerberas will be the order of the day!

My bouquet will be like the one top left except without the white flowers.

Bridesmaids will have smaller versions but without the roses.

Male buttonholes will be roses, Mums & Nans will have gerberas.

Flower girl will have a cute little wicker basket filled with gerberas.

Eek, not long to go! It all looks gorgeous. I'm doing the same for my place cards but keeping the pine cones natural in colour x

Yours look good enough to eat Kirstabubble! Love the peonies MrsMummy2b.

We're having a black and white theme and silk flowers for the bouquets. For the tables we're not having flowers but other decorations which are a work in progress!

    The bouquets I've seen online:
