If you have your date confirmed then it is never to early in my opinion. If you have found one you want then book them to avoid disappointment if your date is not free. You will likely have to pay a small holding deposit but then you can relax until nearer the wedding! We had MUA, florist, photographer all booked within weeks of signing our venue contract. one good thing about boking early was that as we had our prices agreed they are held at those rates (probably wont work for florists but for other service make sure that the price is in your contract and no clauses that they are subject to change) as a lot of suppliers have or are raising prices now to recover lost revenue in Covid so we have saved there by booking early. It has put my mid at rest as I know it is all done, we have the suppliers we wanted and can relax now! We will then be in touch with them a few moths before to work the finer details.

I agree with the above never too early to book especially with all the postponements from last year/this year! Suppliers are getting booked twice as quick! I was going to leave flowers for a little while thinking we have plenty of time (we get married Oct 2023) but I’m now going to look to get them booked in soon. I booked the cake maker today as she’s already full for next year and most of 2023! If you know who you want to do your flowers ask them if their diary is open to book your year / date

Normally we take bookings a year or two in advance but with all the postponements due to Covid suppliers are in really high demand at the moment, we already have enquires coming in for 2023/24 so it is definitely never too early! If you have a supplier in mind I would say it's best to book in with them as soon as you can and then once the date is secured in their diary you can go over the finer details with them nearer to your wedding.
