Flower girls in different dresses

Hi everyone! I would like some opinions and advice. I am wondering has anyone done different dresses for each flower girl? I have two flower girls my daughter and niece. I would love my daughter to be in a similar dress as my wedding dress (tulle shimmer) so she is like a mini me, but then I am not sure if I should get my niece a slighty different dress maybe the same style but no shimmer?

If I'm truthful I think you would be better going for the same dress for both. I think it will look more coordinated but others may disagree x

I think if they're too similar and your niece's just has no shimmer, it might look a bit wrong and it might make your neice feel sad that she had the 'less good' version of the same dress.
How about your daughter being in a mini me dress similar to your wedding dress and your niece being in a mini me version of the bridesmaids dresses? That way the both feel special and coordinate with the overall outfits aesthetic but in different ways.
Otherwise, agree with Alison and I'd go for same dress for both.
