Flowers

I have only purchased my bouquet, 2 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 flower girl bouquet, 6 buttonholes and 5 ladies corsages and altogether it cost £600🥲


I’ve gone for artificial flowers for my venue and it’s so much cheaper. I’ve purchased them from shein - they’re quite good quality and cheap!

I have spent just over £1,000 on flowers which includes:

* Bridal bouquet

* 4 bridesmaid bouquets

* 2 corsages for mums

* 7 button holes for groom, groomsmen and dads

* 7 centre pieces for tables

* 1 top table arrangement

* Cake flowers

We have opted not to have flowers at the church to keep the cost down. Our vicar has suggested we put my bouquet on the signing table during the ceremony, that way it will add decoration to the photos of us signing the register.

Flowers are very expensive and many florists will have a minimum spend.

I've been quoted £900 for bridesmaid bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 6 button holes, 2 corsages, 2 medium urns on plinths for the church (which the florist will then transport to the reception so they can be re-used there) and 1 x top table arrangement. Most florists do have minimum spends (some quoted me £****).

I second the recommendation of Rambling Wild. I’m doing all my own flowers but had them saved as a back up in case my practise runs weren’t good enough for me to feel confident on the day! Luckily my trial runs have gone well, but I do still sometimes look at the bouquet I saved from RW and have a pang!
