Football themed wedding

Hi all,

I am in the very early stages of planning a football themed wedding. I am struggling for inspiration for the little touches. We have plans for the colour theme to match our club's colours (red and white) and are planning to hire a table football set. The venue is booked, and is an old water mill in the Cotswolds, so we can't go overboard with decorations etc because it will overload the room and take away from the venue's own beauty.

Any ideas from anyone who is much more creative than I am? Or anyone who has had a football themed wedding before?
