Fun task! Village fete stalls/games

Canary, 21 August, 2012 at 20:49 Posted on Planning 0 9

So ladies and gentlemen hitchers. We are having a village fete style reception so need stalls/games to have alongside the bouncy castle/popcorn & candy floss makers.

I have a few ideas but would love to get some ideas from some very creative hitchers!

No restrictions! For example, thinking about running tug of war and sack races!

I think it's called hoop-la, where you throw hoops over prizes. A really big one (you'd have to hire it) is a bungee run, they're brilliant fun but I think it would mainly be a guys game because your female guests will be wearing dresses & when you get flung backwards your legs go everywhere!!

Pin the veil on the bride (instead of tail on a donkey)?

Sumo wrestling suits, battle sticks (where people have to knock each other of a slightly raised pole), lucky dips, rodeo bull, climbing wall, if you really want to get in to the sprit you could have a fortune teller, someone selling jams and chutneys and home made cider, beer tents, ice cream van, BBQ ok think I am getting a little carried away now!!
