Galaxy or Dairy Milk?

gee_gee, 29 August, 2012 at 20:29 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 50

So, chocolate lovers, which is your favourite? Galaxy or Dairy Milk?

Personally, I'm team Galaxy.

(Can you tell I'm in the mood of some chocolate? Thankfully we have none in otherwise I'd be adding to the fat day feeling!)

Dairy milk all day long. Cadburys will always be superior to mars. Although I'm actually a dark chocolate girl myself, green and blacks or even aldi's 85% cocoa dark chocolate is amazing. Saying that I have just inhaled a cadburys caramel H brought home for me to have after my tea! mmmm.

Ah yes, but you will be thin and I will get fat. That sounds nice, I love "real" new york cheese cake, does it taste like the real thing?

It doesn't taste exactly like it but it's not bad to be fair.

1 tub of Quark (syn free)

2 sachets of Options white chocolate (3 syns per sachet)

    Splenda (syn free)

2 x double choc alpen Lights (HEB)

Mix the quark and options together then add splenda until it's sweet enough for you

Microwave the alpen light bars for 30 seconds.

Squash the alpen lights down to create a base then whack the cream mix on top.

Chill for 15 minutes or so then eat. Makes two servings or one big greedy girl serving. Guess which one I go for...

It's a very low fat soft cheese. They sell in Asda for £1 but I'm sure they'll sell it elsewhere too.

I do this too - they best better that way no?

I'll take Cadbury's or Galaxy, not fussed, but Cadbury's probably just edges it.

    ?

It's good for stuff like that. Would never have it on it's own but once it's sweetened or added to savoury sauces etc it's fine.

Neither!! Dark chocolate all the way!

Love any dark chocolate though, even cheapy Asda stuff, makes yummy brownies so it does. If I have to eat milk chocolate (obviously forcing myself!) it is with something like a crunchie or time out or something. I could never eat a bar of plain milk chocolate I think I'd be ill.

Why does it have to be one or the other?

But I'd be in Team Galaxy. (Just you and me then, Peanut?) Especially the roasted nuts one.

Cadbury's is now a subsidiary of nasty American Kraft and have you ever had American chocolate???? Bleurgh.

Both. I'm not fussed. OH refuses to eat anything but cadbury so I usually buy that but galaxy cookie crumble is rather sexy. Oh and ripple, and galaxy caramel... nom nom nom

Dairy milk all the way for ordinary milk chocolate.

If its a caramel type choc bar then I prefer the galaxy one weirdly.
