Get Well Soon Vibes for my cat please???

loopyloo, 4 September, 2008 at 19:34 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 7

Hi

Can everyone send their get well soon vibes for my cat? He came in today as usual, but when i picked him up i noticed his tummy was bleeding.

He appears to have caught it on a fence or something.

Hes been to the vet, had some pain releif and some anti-b's. Hes fasted now, to have a GA in the morning to have it stitched up.

He's 11years old and his name is Cheeky. Hes getting a slight touch of arthritis in his back legs, but other than that is well. Very active, likes to spend his days on top of the garden fence or garage, or catching some sun on top of the wheelie bin.

Here he is here posing for camera

And while we are here, can I also have shut the *** up vibes for my father who suggested that the £100 for his op tomorrow is a bit too much, and it would be cheaper to put him to sleep!

Thanks!

Thanks FF. Funny you should say that he is a big cat, as the vet seemed to think he was skinny. And said he would need further blood tests to see why.

But he is the same weight he has always been, and was weighed last time at the vet, who said he was a nice weight. I think she was digging for more business personally

Although i think his fluff does pad him out a bit!

He looks big in the picture but maybe he's fluffed up.

    How much does he weigh?

Our girl cat is 7lbs and the boy cat is 16lbs.

Wishing the very fine looking Cheeky a speedy and trouble free recovery from his op, i'm sure he's going to be fine.

Tell your dad to stop being so silly, if he was in need of medical help and you could assist i'm sure you would, Cheeky is part of your family so the same applies.

And hush up vibes for your dad, we paid 350 quid for our cxat to be rehydrated and to get ovr a bug and she was worth EVERY penny. My neighbour paid over 600 quid for her cat a while ago....you cannot put a price on these things. They are your hearts.
