getting married abroad and throwing a party when i return

Hi

We're getting married in Vegas in December then reception when we get home.

Family meal at 1700, evening guests arrive 1930 onwards. After the meal we will show our wedding video of the ceremony (using our TV & Apple TV box) we will then leave photos of our wedding & trip scrolling all night.

Cheese & wine for the evening pay bar if they don't want wine.

We're going to greet our guest - like a informal receiving line.

As for making it special what are your plans? Sit down meal?

i was thinking of guests arriving at 7 as want to make the most of the evening and having a buffet about half 8,cutting of the cake,first dance etc.

would love to do welcome drinks but having spent so much already on mexico the budget is getting stretched!

I did this first time around. I got married in Cyprus then had a church blessing followed by reception when we returned home. If you don't want the blessing a reception is a lovely idea and you get to wear your dress again ?
